Hi friends, It's been a while. The balmy heat and searing sunshine of the coastal jungle has been good for my heart these last months, and the fruit of my summer labor is here! Back in the springtime I started experimenting on old tshirts and towels the art of natural dyes. It blew my mind! And as I took inspiration from the striking white limestone and beach silhouettes of Tulum I fell in love with tying and dying in Japanese Shibori style. It took months to perfect the patterns and techniques, but what I have made I am proud to share. The Shibori Collection is dyed on eco certified silks and up cycled poly blends from the great garbage patch. We are using non-toxic dyes and making everything to order so that we have zero waste. The best part? When you take home a dress from the collection, you will plant a tree in an area vulnerable to deforestation. SO many wins here!
